Gov. Bill Ritter

Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter and Commissioner of Agriculture John Stulp made a brief stop in Sterling today for an informal Town Hall Meeting. Ritter spoke to the crowd of over 100 people inside the Frank Hunter Auditorium focusing his speech on current issues affecting the state. The governor spoke on the budget and on economic development during this tough economic time. Ritter says the state budget is now balanced....thanks to the "shared sacrifice" that Coloradoans have had to make. The governor took several questions from the audience ranging from education funding to medical marijuana.
